General

Left-handed guitarists can also find a proper American Fender Tele at Bax-shop. This black guitar is the 'lefty' edition of the American Standard Telecaster, a modern version of Fender's legendary classic from the fifties. Telecasters are characterised by their simple yet elegant looks, great feel and a sound you can't go around. From country cleans to bluesy crunch and hard rock distortion, the Tele has it all. This left-handed version of the American Standard Telecaster is fitted with Custom Shop pickups and a comfortable Stratocaster-style body contour on the back. Additionally, you'll receive a high-tech case with TSA latches plus original Fender accessories such as a guitar strap, guitar cable and polishing cloth.

Upgrades on the American Standard Telecaster LH

The American Standard Telecaster has been virtually unaltered as far as its looks go, only the back is slightly different. The back of the body features a large contour that makes it rest against your body more comfortably, whether you're sitting down or standing up. No more painful ribs! But the improvements didn't stop there as this edition was subject to some major tone enhancement. The Custom Shop Broadcaster single-coil in the bridge position produces that authentic Tele sound with even more punch and bite and the Custom Shop Twisted Tele pickup in the neck position has a bigger, more sparkling sound with a Stratocaster-like output. This improves the balance between both vintage single-coil pickups.

A genuine classic modified for modern guitarists

The Fender American Standard Telecaster LH combines the vintage vibes of the original '51 Tele with the playability, build quality and reliability of a modern guitar. Its neck, for instance, features 22 medium jumbo frets, a two-way truss rod and a relatively flat 9.5-inch fretboard radius. This enables a very low action without clattering or loss of strings. The modern Tele-style bridge has a five-screw mounting for improved transference and sustain as well as six adjustable steel Strat-type saddles that offer both optimal intonation and the authentic Tele sound. The staggered machine heads provide excellent pressure on the string nut, even without a second string guide, so there's less noise and more tone, sustain and tuning stability.
