If the real Fender J-Bass is just over your budget, this Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass is the perfect solution, it has the right looks, exceptional capabilities and sound without the tall price tag. It is the perfect bass guitar for beginners but will also appeal to advanced guitarists. This model has a 3-colour sunburst lacquer with a tortoise pickguard for an authentic vintage look.

Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass's mirrored image

This left-handed bass has the same specifications as the right-handed edition only exactly the opposite. Its asymmetrical body is made of lightweight basswood, providing a clear tone that is rich in mids. The comfortable narrow neck has a vintage-tint high-gloss headstock and a 20-fret laurel fretboard with a modern 9.5-inch radius. Squier upgraded this 2013 model with Fender-designed single-coil pickups so it'll come amazingly close to that legendary Fender Jazz Bass sound.
