General

Professional, left-handed bass players who are looking for a proper Fender bass guitar are well catered for at Bax-shop, as we stock the lefty version of the 3-colour Sunburst American Standard Precision Bass. It is the latest guise of Fender's indestructible workhorse from 1951 that was known for its powerful, clear sound and heard in various types of music - from blues to rock and metal. Not only does this left-handed P-Bass have the vintage-looks of the original, it also features the same sound thanks to its new Custom Shop '60s pickup. The modern upgrades provide better playability than ever before. It comes with a high-tech SKB case and Fender accessories that include a guitar strap, an instrument cable and a polishing cloth.

American Standard Precision Bass LH: renewed

2012 has proven to be a good year for the American Standard, and also for this left-handed Precision Bass. Fender have upgraded this bass guitar with a Custom Shop pickup, a split single coil that has the character of a vintage P-Bass pickup but is overwound for more output. This results in the authentic Precision Bass sound with even fatter basses, richer mids and a great punch. With just a single volume and tone knob you are able to create a wide range of different sound for virtually any type of music. Whether you use a pick to go at your strings or subtly use the tip of your fingers, the American Standard Precision Bass is well equipped to provide a top-quality performance every time.

Classic meets modern

The American Standard Precision Bass LH combines the authentic vintage looks and sound with the feel of a modern bass. The bridge and machine heads have undergone a modern upgrade, while retaining their classic looks. The tuners are 30% lighter to provide a better-balanced instrument, while the bridge is extra heavy for longer sustain and a more stable tone. The neck features medium jumbo frets and a modern 9.5-inch fretboard radius for even smoother playing. Thanks to two graphite Posiflex support rods the neck will stay straight, regardless of weather conditions or temperature changes.
