Chauvet DJ's Freedom Stick Pack is a set of decorative LED tubes that can be used on a stage as well as in a truss construction. The system is battery-powered and offers lots of programming options! The tubes are equipped with LED lights that can change colour thanks to pixel mapping. Because it can be programmed extensively, the Freedom Stick pack is suitable for use on stages of any size, or suspended in a truss. They are controlled via DMX and can also function in master-slave mode or by means of the included IRC-6 remote.

Maar... opgelet als je ze koopt om DMX te gebruiken. Allereerst is er een bijkomende aanschaf nodig van een Flarecon Air van Chauvet (bijkomende kosten dus) en je kan perfect een set aansturen, ook verschillende sets, maar bij verschillende sets kan je ze onmogelijk de ingebouwde effecten synchroon laten vertonen. Elke set bevat de ingebouwde effecten maar hebben een eigen ingebouwde klok laat maar zeggen. Ik probeerde lang met Sunlite om deze gelijk te laten lopen en na meerdere malen met Chauvet te overleggen bleek dat dit dus helemaal niet mogelijk is.
De enige mogelijkheid om ze synchroon te krijgen is ze allemaal op 48 of 50 (!!!) DMX-kanalen te zetten en de effecten zelf te programmeren, een huzarenstuk!
Voor de prijs die je hier per set voor dient te betalen had ik toch verwacht dat dat géén probleem zou zijn. Toch nog eens op drukken dat je deze dus wel met de afstandsbediening perfect kan laten lopen, maar dan is het nut van DMX-sturing ver te zoeken...
