General
Briteq's first iteration of the Stage Beamer was already a great RGB LED fixture with excellent colour blends, but current technological developments regarding LEDs made the second version even more powerful. Additionally, the MK2 version features a 16-bit dimmer system per colour for even more different shades and the ultimate colour blends. The Stage Beamer MK2 has 3-pin and 5-pin DMX connectors, so it can easily be incorporated into any light show setup.
Technology of the Stage Beamer MK2
The MK2 version of the Stage Beamer produces a powerful beam of light that is still intense at some distance. The 14 powerful RGB Tri LEDs produce a beam with a homogenous colour. At a 16-degree angle, the beam is relatively narrow, but it can still light up a sizeable surface at some distance.
Using the Stage Beamer
The practical display makes it easy to alter settings. You can change the colour temperature, the DMX modes, RGB and white calibration, dimmer curves and much more. Thanks to its 400Hz scan rate, it is also suited for flicker-free TV/video recordings. The Stage Beamer’s cast aluminium housing is ready for the road, and it also makes a good heatsink for the LEDs. The double bracket allows it to stand on its own or be suspended from a truss, for instance. A hardened glass front ensures optimal optics, as well as proper protection.
