General

This LED moving head has the same light output power as one equipped with an HMI575 gas-discharge lamp. What was deemed impossible has been made reality by Briteq: their BTX-180LS is equipped with a 180-watt LED light source. This massively bright light is an excellent choice for rental companies, clubs and stages. This fixture's quick, smooth pan and tilt motors guarantee a professional, highly dynamic light show.

High-quality optics in the BTX-180LS

Naturally, all the internal components need to be able to cope with such a tremendously powerful light source, which is why the BTX-180 LS features high-quality optics. These optics bring out the best in the form of lively colours, razor-sharp gobo projections, smooth dim curves and a strobe function as quick as lightning. Other great features include a motorised focus, rotating gobos and a rotating 3-faced prism.

In practice

Naturally, you can control the BTX-180LS best via DMX, as it gives you optimal control over all of its various functions via no fewer than 17 DMX channels! Would you like to rent it out? Then your customers can reap the benefits of a stand-alone mode or a master/slave setup for an even more dramatic show with several fixtures. What's more, this moving head is exceptionally quiet, which is great for professional applications in theatres, for instance.
