General

Showtec have outdone themselves with the XS-6, a wonderfully strange device! This LED moving head's head can move horizontally and vertically, but it also has an endlessly rotating body with 6 individually movable beam heads that can turn in an angle of 60 degrees. How freaky is that?!

Technology of the XS-6 moving head

The XS-6 moving head is not just any device to use at a party - with up to 32 channels, you can control all properties of the unit. Every head is provided with a 10W LED and a beam angle of 4 degrees, which ensure that the intensity of the light is impressive. Each is also fitted with 9 gobos, 7 dichroic colour filters, a shutter and a manually adjustable focus. The XS-6 can be used in an automatic or music-controlled mode, but the best effect is achieved with the right DMX controller.

Use of the XS-6 moving head

This unit is often used as an extra effect in a sizeable DJ booth, for instance, or as a centre effect in discotheques. Thanks to the various colour filters and gobos plus its movability, the XS-6 is seamlessly incorporated in a new light shows and you can show your audience something new, time and time again. Despite the various options, the size and weight are limited, so that it can also be used for mobile applications!
