Once again, American DJ have created a mega-fun light effect. This Jelly Globe lives up to American DJ's already massive reputation for providing us with innovative eyecatchers. This retro-looking ball is actually two effects in one, as it projects 15 coloured rays of light from what is already a great-looking multi-colour fixture.

American DJ Jelly Globe: an old-school effect

As we mentioned before, the Jelly Globe projects 15 rays of light in different colours, thanks to RGB LEDs. These rays are triggered by sound and can also run automatic chases. As the ball rotates, swirling beams of light that change colour to the beat fan out across the room. The ball itself is suspended from a 50cm cable and is lit by an RGB LED that also responds to the music, creating an effect with different colours that are controlled by the music. Go back in time with this retro effect.
