General
The American DJ Jelly Dome is an LED moonflower effect in a transparent housing so that it is actually two effects as the housing changes colour with the rays. The 10-watt RGBW LED produces the essential colours and lets you blend all seven of them (red, green, blue, purple, yellow, cyan and white) seamlessly. The Jelly Dome can be used with or without a fog machine, and its beam angle of no less than 138 degrees indicates its room-filling ability. The 1.8-degree stepper motor provides smooth rotation for a professional show.
The American DJ Jelly Dome can be controlled in several ways, and all the functions can be accessed via the dipswitches behind the service hatch. It has a sound-controlled function so that you can start a worry-free operation straight up. Connect several Jelly Domes with XLR cables and they move in sync thanks to their master/slave function. If you're not wary of a little programming to use all the Jelly Dome's functions, you can connect it to a DMX controller that lets you program and control all of the Jelly's functions at will.

Maar bij navraag blijkt dat dit alleen kan met een aparte DMX-controller (nu heb je een goede voor 79,- begrijp ik, maar ik wou nu juist zo min mogelijk spullen meenemen...)
Apparaat is mooi en goed, tekst klopt simpelweg niet(!) Indien iemand weet welke dipswitch-combi de kleur kan laten stilstaan, houd ik me aanbevolen en neem ik alles terug uiteraard...) (BAX heeft me meteen beantwoord, het merk laat niets van zich horen vooralsnog).
Eenmaal binnen gekregen heb ik t gelijk uitgepakt en getest, wat geeft deze lichtbal toch super veel licht + de bal draait mee in de gewenste draairichting. Na aantal minuten heb ik gelijk de 2e Jelly Dome bestelt, ik ben er erg tevreden over.
Ik gebruik ze voor kleine feestjes. De jelly dome voegt super veel toe aan je lichtshow, ik heb al vele goede reacties gehad!.

-De prijs. Het is erg duur maar je krijgt er veel voor terug.
-Motor of ventilator maakt een klein beetje geluid, maar dit hoor je niet als je de muziek aan hebt staan.

Ik heb er twee besteld, en heb ze los gebruikt to sound, master en slave to sound, en dmx..
Ik zelf hoef geen anderen meer, alleen deze, super mooi en leuke reacties op gehad.
Denk dat ik over een tijdje er nog een paar bestel.
Snelheid is via dmx regelbaar van extreem langzaam tot zeer snel.
