General

The Sony ECM-FT5BMP electret condenser lavalier microphone makes sure you're clearly audible without being visible itself. The omnidirectional lavalier microphone has a super-compact, flat housing that can easily be hidden underneath your clothing - a design that originated in the film and television industry where microphones are supposed to stay out of sight. The Sony ECM-FT5 electret condenser lavalier microphone can be effortlessly combined with the UWP series, as it is fitted with a 3.5mm TRS jack connector.

The metal housing of the ECM-FT5BMP

Thanks to its flat, 4.9mm profile, the Sony ECM-FT5BMP can easily be attached underneath your clothing - its compact dimensions ensure that noises caused by rustling fabric are not registered. The durable metal housing of the lavalier microphone reduces vibrations and resonance, while a moisture-proof display protects the internal components from sweat and condensation.

Windscreen, clothing clip and protective pouch

Sony supplies the ECM-FT5BMP electret condenser lavalier microphone with a number of practical accessories. A clothing clip enables you to effortlessly attach the microphone to a button hole or (breast) pocket, for instance, and a windscreen ensures that you're clearly audible at all times, even during windy outdoor recordings. A protective pouch, finally, provides you with a safe place to store your microphone and accessories.
