Extensive accessory pack
Rode’s Classic II Limited Black condenser microphone comes with a variety of accessories. The extensive bundle won’t leave you in any doubt: this is something special. The housing of the mic has even been hand-polished. Also, the Classic II is delivered in a durable and practical aluminium storage case. Je possède aussi un AKG C414 (connu pour avoir un son brillant). J'ai comparé deux prises successives de voix avec les deux micros, et le RODE Classic II s'en sort très bien, il est plus équilibré au niveau des aigu (un peu moins brillant que le C414 qui l'est peut-être un peu trop), et un medium légèrement remonté. On gagne en clarté et le rendu est très agréable.
Etant à tube, le RODE ajoute quelques harmoniques subtiles, mais vraiment bien venues.
C'est donc un excellent micro, très beau dans cette version.
La mallette livrée est très classe et complète: un tube de rechange, l'alim externe, la suspension (pal mal quoiqu'elle aurait gagnée à être en métal au point de fixation).
Bref, c'est un très bon produit, cher certes, mais je trouve qu'on en a pour son argent quand même, ce n'est donc pas du vol, loin de là.
