General

The MPM-3000 is the flagship of Marantz's MPM series. This large-diaphragm microphone has top-notch components that contribute to its high accuracy. It offers outstanding audio source reproduction and a focused sound that filters away ambient noise thanks to the cardioid pickup pattern. When you're recording vocals, this is exactly what you want, which is why this type of pickup pattern is so commonly used in studio applications. The MPM-3000 is also suitable for orchestral percussion due to its quick frequency response. Lastly, this mic's ingenious design has an integrated pop filter and shock mount that effectively prevents any unwanted noise from being captured.
