Recording vocals, piano, drums, guitar, strings and wind instruments is a job for the LCT 840. Additionally, this robust microphone is ideal for the most demanding studio applications, such as the authentic reproduction of a live experience. This mic doesn't only stand out due to its user-friendly operation and advanced technological properties, its aesthetic design grabs the attention as well. A transparent panel allows you to actually see the glowing tube inside.

LCT 840 tube microphone

When recording a source, you can choose between five different modes, namely: omnidirectional, cardioid, figure 8, broad cardioid and supercardioid. This function enhances the LCT 840's enormous versatility because it allows you to select the right recording pattern for every possible scenario. In addition, thanks to its warm tube sound, you can reap the benefits of the authentic method with which the source is captured. Just like any other Lewitt microphone, the LCT 840 has a low self-noise level of only 9 dB. At the same time, it features three different attenuation levels and three adjustable high-pass filters, an LED indicator and noiseless buttons.
