General

The DAP CM-87 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone that is excellent for studio use, but its rugged housing also makes it perfect for on-stage madness! This condenser microphone's wide frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz makes it well suited for recording warm, acoustic instrumental tones and orchestras and ensembles, for instance. The pickup pattern of the CM-87 even allows for overhead use, as you can pick from three different patterns: cardioid, figure-eight and omnidirectional. This way, you only need one microphone for a whole variety of applications!

DAP CM-87 large-diaphragm condenser microphone
Wrote the following about DAP CM-87 large-diaphragm condenser microphone
