General

Yamaha's PSR-S670 entertainer keyboard is an outstanding instrument that ensures hours of careless fun. This real all-rounder will keep both young and old players occupied for a long time to come. The S670 offers more options than an entry-level keyboard, without the complexity of more expensive models, making it an incredibly user-friendly instrument. Both at home and on stage, the practical PSR-S670 is quite capable of holding its own.

Characteristics of the Yamaha PSR-S670

The keyboard's large keys are a dead giveaway - this is no toy instrument. With over 500 beautiful AWM sounds, you're able to capture the right tone for any genre, and an additional number of special Yamaha sounds - Mega Voices, Sweet! Voices, Cool! Voices and Live! Voices - allow for even more diversity, providing the proverbial icing on the cake. Playing back MIDI files is no problem (the keyboard offers 480 XG sounds, after all), but if you prefer genuine audio, it's also possible to play back .wav files via USB, or regular audio (from your smartphone/MP3 player, for instance) via the aux input.

Your own musical creations

With the PSR-S670, you're able to play virtually any familiar song. Simply pick a style, select a sound, and you're good to go. If you prefer producing your own music, however, you'll be happy to know the keyboard is equipped with a 16-track sequencer. There's even an arpeggiator, allowing for those characteristic, quick/complex sequences of notes you often hear in EDM and synth pop. The keyboard's effects section and amplification system, meanwhile, are of the high quality you've come to expect from a Yamaha product. In short, with the PSR-S670, Yamaha once again delivers the goods, offering a comprehensive keyboard for a remarkable price.
