General

If you want to learn to play the piano or keyboard, then you need to start somewhere. Fitted with 61 light-up keys to guide you through your first chords and melodies, the Yamaha EZ-300 might be the perfect place to start. While this feature is obviously pretty practical, it's also fun! Through game-style learning, you can follow and play your favourite songs even if you can't read a note of music, and since the EZ-300 comes pre-loaded with 202 songs from artists including Pharrel Williams, Coldplay, and Lady Gaga, you're actually likely to find at least one of your favourites, and can play them at your own tempo.

The Yamaha EZ-300: Bulging with Sounds

If you're at all worried that this keyboard might be a little limited in terms of sound variation, then rest assured. The gigantic library is stacked with 622 sounds, which of course, includes a realistic grand piano. The keys are also velocity sensitive and accurately translate any of your playing expression and nuance into the resulting sound, so instead of every note playing at the same volume, there is a variation depending on how softly or how hard a key is struck.

Duo Mode: Learn to Play Together

The Yamaha EZ-300 also provides Duo mode so that when two players are at the keyboard, the keyboard is split into two and both players are able to play at the same time and in the same octave range on the left and right of the keyboard. The 48-note polyphony also ensures that every note is given clarity, and if you use any music software on your laptop, computer, or tablet, this model can be connected for MIDI via USB functionality. The audio can also work over USB, so you can make recordings.
