General

The Audya 5 offers entertainers all the variation they've ever dreamed of. Let's start with the 61 semi-weighted keys with aftertouch and portamento. These can be used to summon 430 different sounds, 570 different styles, 512 GM sounds, as well as 370 live drum and percussion sequences and 159 live guitar patterns, all of which are stored on the 80 GB internal hard drive. If that's not enough variation for you, you can use the built-in sampler function to create your own sounds and the MIDI Remix function to synchronise MIDI files, which can be mixed with the available drum and guitar tracks.

Operation

The control panel is designed with live performers in mind. Use the 17 sliders to change up minute details in real time or use the TFT colour display with its 10 buttons for quick and easy adjustments. To streamline the entire creative process, Ketron has equipped the Audya 5 with another 16 buttons for quick access to handy functions, but you can also assign your own functions, styles and sounds to the buttons. Most of them have been fitted with a small LED indicator so you're always in complete control.

Connectors

This workstation keyboard has been outfitted with numerous connectors, both analogue and digital ones. Next to the standard stereo output, there are four individual line outputs that can be used in mono or stereo, stereo RCA inputs, a headphone jack, two USB-A ports and a USB-B port. Additionally, there's a video port you can use to synchronise your music to colour images with text, either via the internal or an external display.

Voicetron

The Audya 5 also features two XLR jack combo microphone connectors. Using the special Ketron Vocalizer, you can mix down your own voice and sculpt a 5-voice harmony. This vocalizer can be used live with a microphone input. The included reverb and delay functions can be manually controlled via the keyboard, or automatically via the Arranger function or MIDI files.
