General

This plucky little keyboard from Alesis can be used to hone your skill practically anywhere in the world. The Harmony 32 features an ultra-portable design and comes fitted with 32 keys and a built-in speaker system. What's more, the keyboard can be fed power via USB or loaded with four standard AA batteries, and Alesis have even built in a mini-jack headphone port so you can play in silence.

The Alesis Harmony 32 Portable Keyboard

Despite its humble dimensions, the Alesis Harmony 32 is no toy. That said, it's obviously not massively powerful either, but it does come loaded with a surprising amount of options: 300 sounds, 300 rhythms, 40 demo songs and, if that's not enough, you can simply use the USB port as a MIDI output to hook up your laptop or tablet for more sounds or use it in combination with educational software. On that note, it's worth mentioning that the Alesis Harmony 32 comes including a 3-month subscription to Skoove Premium, a 2-month subscription to TakeLessons|Live and a total of 60 free interactive lessons offered by Melodics.
