General
If something's worth doing, then Roland tend to do it right. The Black Series includes humble looking cables finished with solid, stable plugs and smartly constructed wiring and sheathing. The RIC-B15A is a 4.5-metre-long cable fitted with one right-angled standard jack at one end, and a straight jack at the other end of a cable supported by an oxygen-free copper core and spiral-formed shielding for the cleanest, purest possible signal transfer. A supple black mantel coats and protects the whole and is sealed with heat-shrunk tubing at both connectors.

Er zijn nog her en der merken met hun eigen, niet-Neutrik pluggen die kwaliteit zeker benaderen, zo niet evenaren.
De Roland is daar -mijns inziens- ook een van.
Dit is nou typisch ook een kabel die in feet lengtes *15 feet in dit geval* wereldwijd geleverd wordt, en daarom aan de aparte 4,5 meter komt.
Bij de andere merken die ik eigenlijk zocht, kwam je op 3 meter en daarna direct op 5 meter.
Deze 4,5 meter was precies de maat die ik zocht voor een degelijke speakerkabel naar de monitoren toe.
De haakse plug kan je altijd erbij hebben.
Ziet er erg goed uit (al ligt het dan verstopt over de grond nu); en de pluggen zitten erg solide in elkaar.
Klank: buiten kijf.
Nogmaals: bij Roland mag je dat verwachten.
Ik kan natuurlijk niet bij iedereen in de portenmee kijken maar ik snap echt niet waarom sommige mensen een flutkabel van 5 euro kopen terwijl ze voor een tientje meer een topkabel hebben.
Raad ze dus zeker aan, geen gedoe met breuken of vervelende ruis in je opnames
Nu voor het eerst deze Roland kabel besteld omdat ik voor thuis een kabeltje wilde hebben.
Zoals gewoonlijk supersnel geleverd door Bax.
Een mooie, degelijk ogende kabel met goede vaste pluggen. Als ik binnenkort kabels nodig heb worden het
zeker Roland kabels.
