General

When you need a bunch of short jack cables, the Procab CLA792 patch cable set is perfect. It consists of 6 stereo jack male cables that allow you to connect certain pieces of equipment over short distances. This means you won't get a tangle of cables that are too long. That's great for on stage, as well as in a 19" rack, for instance.

Furthermore, the CLA792 features an MC104-type cable, which is properly shielded. As such, the signal won't be affected by any humming, noise or other detrimental factors. Each of these 1m-long cables has a flexible PVC jacket.

Just received a set of these patch cables. Terrible quality. One is entirely broken, signal cuts off when the cable moves, the other ones are like radio receivers. I will make sure to send that garbage back and get my money back. I will never buy anything of Procab as the quality is just not there.

Deze set (meerdere eigenlijk) gekocht om mijn mengtafel via inserts aan een cymatic lr 16 te hangen, zodat ik live opnames kan maken, maar ook om uitstekende 16 sporen opnamen te maken op locatie via de computer.

Uitstekende kabeltjes. Een meter is precies lang genoeg om zelf nog een beetje te kunnen bepalen waar je je spullen neerzet, kabeltjes zijn flexibel genoeg en ik heb geen extra brom, ruis of losse contacten kunnen ontdekken.

Minder fleurig (wat ik als voordeel ervaar) dan de wat goedkopere sets patchkabels van procab, maar dankzij de kleuren op de connectoren toch gemakkelijk te identificeren bij het inprikken.

Ik weet nog niks over de duurzaamheid van de kabels, maar van procab heb ik tot noch toe nooit iets gehad wat niet goed gemaakt was. De tijd zal het verder leren.
