De Firebox is de meest complete 24-bit/96k FireWire audio interface die past in de palm van uw hand. De FireBox herbergt twee Presonus microfoon en instrument voorversterkers en heeft een 24 bit/96k sample rate. De FireBox is een perfecte combinatie van software en hardware voor een professionele hoge kwaliteit opname studio.

De FireBox is voorzien van twee gebalanceerde ingangen, zes gebalanceerde uitgangen, hoofdtelefoon uitgang, een MIDI in- en uitgang, S/PDIF in- en uitgang.

Bij de FireBox krijgt u de Propack software bundel dat bestaat uit: Cubase LE, ACID XMC en veel bruikbare plug-ins van hoge kwaliteit van onder andere Audio Damage, Camel en Voxengo en ruim 1GB aan drumloops en samples.

Wat de FireBox ook uniek maakt in deze prijsklasse is de lage latency DSP mixer die u in de vorm van software krijgt bijgeleverd. Met dit software pakket bent u in staat alle zes ingangen van de FireBox af te mixen en door te sturen naar de twee uitgangen om zo live uw muziek te mixen. Wat dit ook mogelijk maakt is 'cueing' voor DJ's en live optredens waar veelal het hoofdtelefoon signaal een ander signaal moet zijn dan het hoofd signaal.
