While this tablet does have a Retina screen, it's not the same as that of its predecessor but rather a sleeker version with less air between the layers that make up the screen for overall better quality. This version of the iPad mini 3 is also equipped with Touch ID, a fingerprint identifier that you can use to lock your device and to make purchases. Furthermore, this tablet features a 64-bit A7 chip with great computing capacity which is combined with low power usage to provide a longer batter lifespan.

Of course, there are also countless other free apps that you can download from the App Store.
