Take your drum tracks to the next level with Superior Drummer 2.0. This virtual instrument by Toontrack offers a vast collection of drum samples (approximately 20 GB) that were carefully recorded and mixed under the supervision of Neil Dorfsman (Sting, Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer). The samples were recorded using adjustable microphone setups and bleeding, and have really captured the unique acoustics of the Avatar New York studio. Whether you're a drummer with an electronic kit or a producer who works with a DAW, Superior Drummer 2.0 provides you with a professional sound and a highly functional setup.
Superior Drummer 2.0: the possibilities
With this outstanding drum plugin, Toontrack gives you a choice of various drums and cymbals - just use the interface to compose and adjust your dream drum kit. If you opt for one of the software's preset kits, however, a Construct option, an extensive mixer, a five-band EQ, various filters and dynamic processors still allow you to work with your very own sound. Are you ready for even more drum sounds? Various (optional) SDX expansions can be seamlessly incorporated. Thanks to a clear interface, working with Superior Drummer 2.0 is a piece of cake - this is a Toontrack product, after all.
Drums and cymbals: highlights
Virtual instruments are meant to be heard. Superior Drummer 2.0 offers plenty of ear candy, including samples of the Ludwig Black Beauty, GMS Piccolo 13-inch and Slingerland 70s snare drums and various Sabian HHX cymbals, from crashes and rides to splashes and Chinas. Even a cowbell is part of the package. To ensure a natural drum sound, all samples have been captured in minute detail. Superior Drummer 2.0 is suitable for both Mac and Windows, and can be run as a VST plugin in any common DAW.

Toch is Superior Drummer wat mij betreft een echte aanrader!
En zoals altijd bedankt voor de snelle levering.
Het grote voordeel ten opzichte van het eveneens populaire EZ Drummer (ook van Toontrack) is de hogere kwaliteit van 24 bits samples (EZ drummer heeft 16 bits) èn de zeer uitgebreide mogelijkheid om de drumpartij in stereo af te mixen voor je het naar je muziekprogramma stuurt. En vooral deze twee aspecten heeft mij de keuze voor Superior Drummer doen maken. Inmiddels ruim een half jaar in bezit en ik ben nog net zo enthousiast als toen ik het voor het eerst gebruikte. Aanrader!
