Acoustic Agent offers you three drum kits: the Studio Kit (Yamaha Oak Customs), the Rock Kit (Pearl Masterworks) and the Vintage Kit (Ludwig Fab Four). Each kit has been carefully recorded in great detail and high quality, ensuring every subtle nuance is beautifully reproduced. Each sample is available in both 16 and 24 bits. The mixing options are incredibly comprehensive: room mics, overheads, crosstalk between microphones, drum tuning, the extent to which hi-hats are opened, EQ and compression can all be adjusted to suit your preferences. One particularly practical feature of Acoustic Agent is the Style Player function, which allows you to select a groove to modify at will. It allows you to adjust the intensity of the rhythm, and to experiment with the patterns within a groove - ideal for songwriters and producers!
Beat Agent is a comprehensive tool for productions that require electronic drum sounds. With over 100 kits to choose from and the option to create and customise your own kits, this section of Groove Agent 4 is ideal for producers and beat makers.
Finally, Percussion Agent enables you to fine-tune your drum tracks with percussion instruments like bongos, congas, shakers and tambourines. The Style Player is available as well, allowing you to combine up to eight sub styles and to adjust both the complexity and the intensity.
