Various names in the industry keep a large instrument collection as part of their catalogue. So does the German Steinberg, who are ready to drop the fifth iteration in the Absolute series. Absolute 5 covers over 130GB of content, including more than 7,500 presets and countless samples ranging from orchestra and synth-pop to rock and urban. HALion 6 even comes included for those who like to sculpt their creative chunks of audio to fill custom high-end sample libraries so, if you're still fresh-faced, lacking the back-up of a proper stack of virtual instruments, Steinberg Absolute 5 couldn't come recommended any higher.
