We've been waiting some time now for Native Instruments to pull the proverbial rabbit out of the hat, and here it is: the Komplete 13 Ultimate Collector's Edition, serving up the ultimate of all Ultimates for any self-respecting producer. It goes without saying that everything that the 'standard' Ultimate edition offers is included, but you're also getting a bundled collection of plug-in packs that you'd usually have to pick up separately, and these include pianos, guitars, orchestras, choirs, synths, drums, instruments from all over the world and then some. Installing this colossal stockpile of connoisseur-grade virtual instruments and effects in its entirety will cost you no less than 1.1 terabytes, but at least you can rest assured, knowing that you've got the very best of the Komplete Series right beneath the tips of your grubby little fingers. This collector's edition is definitely recommended for any Kontakt hoarders!

Alleen is de prijs voor een upgrade van versie 12 naar versie 13 nogal gepeperd. Gelukkig staat Bax scherp geprijsd, en hadden we nog een kortingsbonnetje, waardoor de investering uiteindelijk meeviel.
Wel even opletten als je het pakket download: je zou wel eens snel over de maandelijkse limiet van je provider kunnen zitten, wat je met extra kosten opzadelt.
