Bij de naam Garritan zult u als eerste aan de beroemde orkestrale-library van ze denken. Ze hebben echter ook een aantal andere interessante virtuele instrumenten uitgebracht, waaronder de World Instruments Collection. Het pakket bevat meer dan 350 individueel gesampelde instrumenten vanuit de hele wereld die worden bespeeld via de ARIA-engine. Deze engine ondersteund niet alleen westerse toonladders, zoals bij de meeste andere geluidenbanken het geval is, maar u kunt ze ook bespelen in honderden "afwijkende" toonsoorten en stemmingen.
Meer dan 350 verschillende World Instruments
Van Afrika tot Latijns Amerika, van de Himalaya tot in de woestijn. Elke uithoek, maar ook Noord Amerika en ons eigen Europa zijn ruim vertegenwoordigd in deze collectie. Vele bekende instrumenten, maar ook onbekende zoals de Bougarabou uit Afrika, de Suona uit China, de Pakhawaj uit India of de Tebyoshi uit Japan. Dit softwarepakket staat garant voor vele uren speelplezier!
ARIA-engine
De geluiden bespeeld u via de ARIA-engine, die u ook terugvind bij de andere software van Garritan. De onderlinge instrumenten worden snel geladen waarbij de processor van uw computer zoveel mogelijk wordt ontzien. De ARIA-player is overigens eenvoudig te integreren in uw digitale studio omgeving vanwege de vele formaten (VST RTAS/AU) en kan ook stand-alone worden gebruikt.
