The Arturia V Collection 7 of virtual synthesizers make for a fantastic investment if you're looking for true synth classics. With such realistic and convincing simulations, you'll be sent to another dimension enjoying all the timeless classics, including the CS-80, the Prophet, the Jupiter 8, the Matrix-12, the Minimoog, Synclavier, DX7 and many more legendary instruments. New in this edition are a Mellotron, the CZ and the Synthi. With its new and improved sound engine, the B-3 sounds better than ever before.

New instruments in the V-Collection 7

The Mellotron shouldn't require an introduction but is an early sample player that used tapes. The flutes heard on The Beatles' Strawberry Fields Forever is a great example. The CZ (Casio) is a little less well-known but actually used to be its own spin on the Yamaha DX, not just a sawtooth-synth but one with a wide sound spectrum to add to your arsenal. The Synthi (EMS Synthi) is probably the most recognisable name thanks to its prominent role in the Jean Michel Jarre's records, Oxygene and Equinox.

Waanzinnige collectie! Hoeveel 'bang for your buck' wil je hebben? Afgezien van de waanzinnige sounds en variatie zijn deze synths ook nog eens super makkelijk te bedienen vanwege het briljante midi-mapping systeem van Arturia: klik op het midi icoon, klik een parameter aan, beweeg je knop/fader/touchstrip op je controller en klaar. Daarnaast is alles te resizen zodat je m groot op scherm kan zetten tijdens het sound design, maar makkelijk kan verkleinen als je gaat arrangeren of mixen in je DAW en je de plugin nog wel graag in een hoekje op je scherm wilt volgen. En nogmaals: de sounds :-)
