De Shure MicroFlex serie biedt zakelijke gebruikers overal een oplossing voor. Zo ook voor situaties waarin het niet mooi of niet praktisch is dat er microfoons op tafel staan, op kleding hangen of op het hoofd staan; hiervoor is deze MX202 serie geschikt! Deze overhead microfoon biedt u namelijk de mogelijkheid de microfoon aan het plafond te bevestigen, waardoor deze vrijwel onzichtbaar is. Dit is handig achter bijvoorbeeld recepties, loketten, verhoorkamers, operatiekamers en natuurlijk vergaderkamers.

De MX202 serie is uitgevoerd in twee kleuren - wit en zwart - en is leverbaar met twee verschillende opnamepatronen: cardioide en supercardioide. De microfoonserie is ook leverbaar zonder cartridge, waar u dan zelf nog een omni-directionele cartridge kunt uitvoeren. Het voordeel hiervan is dat u een afweging kunt maken van de mogelijkheid op feedback en reflecties, waar de microfoon geplaatst wordt enzovoort, om vervolgens tot de beste oplossing te komen. De cartridges zijn bovendien onderling te verwisselen en zelfs bij te bestellen, zodat u altijd van uw cardioide exemplaar een supercardioide of zelfs een omni-directionele microfoon kunt maken! En om het allemaal nog een stukje meer all-round te maken, kunt u ook kiezen uit de manier van voorversterken, u kunt namelijk kiezen uit twee voorversterkers: de in-line, die in het circuit en dus de kabel is geïntegreerd, en de zogenaamde "plate-mounted" voorversterker. Zo heeft u altijd de meeste situaties geheel in eigen hand!
