In-ear monitoring is becoming increasingly popular, and these days, more and more artists tend to opt for wireless systems. New developments in wireless in-ear monitoring, the huge choice of available frequencies and the fact that reliable UHF systems are becoming increasingly affordable all contribute to that trend.
The many benefits listed:

- noise exposure is reduced to a minimum
- wherever you are on stage, sound will stay the same
- no feedback issues with monitor speakers
- space acoustics no longer influence monitor sound

- good in-ear monitoring systems have built-in sound peak protection, reducing the chances of hearing damage considerably
Shure's PSM200 personal monitoring system allows artists with a modest budget to enjoy the many possibilities of in-ear monitoring. The system, which consists of a transmitter and a receiver, has two XLR line inputs. As such, it's possible to receive a mono signal as well as a monitor mix, and to adjust their respective volume levels individually. This PSM 200 set doesn't only include a P2T transmitter and a P2R bodypack receiver, but comes with Shure's renowned SE215-CL in-ear monitors and a practical rack mount kit.
