General
In-ear monitor systems are a familiar sight on stages the world over and are used by touring artists, as well as less professional practitioners. Shure have been producing in-ear systems for many years and all this experience has been put into this PSM300 system. Instead of a wireless analogue signal, this system transmits digitally, allowing for improved quality and by limiting the bandwidth, multiple systems can be used simultaneously.
Shure P3TR112GR L19: the advantage of a digital signal
The choice of a digital system is quite logical when we look at the development that in-ear systems have undergone over the years. Analogue systems that were plagued by noise and interference used to be the standard in the music industry. Even the weather could influence the clarity of the signal in such systems. Modern digital systems like the P3TR112GR don't face such difficulties as noise is suppressed by D/A conversion resulting in a reliable connection with a detailed sound!
Overview
The frequencies used are very important with wireless systems. This system can be used on frequencies 630 - 654 MHz. The P3TR112GR L19 system consists of a P3R receiver, P3T transmitter and SE112 earphones. Rackmounts, an antenna, power adapter and antenna cable are also included. You can use the system in a mono, stereo or even dual-mono capacity, whereby one transmitter transmits to two receivers. Scanning frequencies is easily done via the press of a button.
