General

This is the H8E version (518-542 MHz) of the Shure P3TR in-ear monitoring system. The P3TR is a part of the Shure PSM 300 series and consists of a transmitter and a receiver - headphones are not included, so you don't pay for them when you already own customised earphones, for instance. This set contains several accessories, such as rack mounts, a power adapter, AA batteries and a BNC cable.

So, why should you spend your hard-earned cash on the PSM 300 system? We will tell you why. Firstly, the product specialists at Shure have amassed years of experience when it comes to wireless transmission. Secondly, the digital, 24-bit processing ensures a crystal-clear sound, while the special Audio Reference Companding minimises static (among other things). Furthermore, this easy-to-use system has a range of 100 yards and you can choose between stereo or mixed mono. When in mixed-mono mode, you can, for instance, receive a separate signal for an instrument and vocals. The performer can fine-tune the balance between these two.
