General

In order to give away a great show, high-quality monitor sound is essential: after all, it is a lot easier if you only have to focus on your performance instead of on the sound. With an in-ear monitoring system from the Evolution Wireless 300 series by Sennheiser, you can make this a reality. This Sennheiser SR 300 IEM G3 is the stereo transmitter from the EW 300 series. It automatically finds an interference-free frequency out of 1,680 different frequencies over a bandwidth of 42 MHz. This version operates on band B (626 - 668 MHz) and therefore the SR 300 IEM G3 is well suited for use in the Netherlands.

Connectors of the Sennheiser SR 300 IEM G3

The back of the Sennheiser SR 300 IEM G3 is equipped with two combo inputs. These allow you to connect a male 3-pin XLR or 6.35mm jack plug to it. A pass-through output is also mounted at the rear, allowing you to split the signal and transmit it to other devices. Via the headphone connector at the front, incoming signals can easily be checked for humming, for instance. The last connector is an Ethernet port for integration with the Wireless Systems Manager (WMS) software, for control via the computer.

Automatic connection

The Sennheiser SR 300 IEM G3 transmitter operates seamlessly with the EK 300 G3 stereo receiver. Via an automatic frequency scan, an interference-free frequency is found for optimal signal transfers. Once it has been found, you can store the frequency via an auto-lock function. All settings and even the remaining battery life of the receiver can be read from a clear display with backlighting. A practical extra function of this stereo transmitter is the integrated 5-band equalizer for the optimal fine-tuning of your sound.

Tips or comments about this product
  • This is the band B version for use in the Netherlands. For use in Belgium you will need the band A version with a frequency range from 516 to 558 MHz. It is not possible to combine the A and the B version!
