If you ever feel the need to replace or upgrade your snare drum's hoops, why not consider the Mapex Sonic Saver hoops? These 2.3mm-thick hoops were specially designed by Mapex for the Black Panther series of snare drums. The Sonic Saver hoops ensure your snare drum stays in tune, and thanks to their innovative design they enhance the drum's projection.

Furthermore, because the top edge is folded in on itself, it has a larger playing surface for your sticks when playing rimshots. This effectively extends the lifespan of your sticks without compromising your ability to play proper rimshots. Their design makes the Sonic Saver hoops a great compromise between the light and airy triple-flanged hoops, and the rigid, heavy die-cast hoops!

This particular hoop is suited for the batter side of any snare drum with a diameter of 13 inches and 8 lugs, and it has a sleek, black brushed finish that really gives your snare a unique look.
