This compact, cream-coloured speaker goes by the name Marshall Woburn. It is an exceptionally tasteful product from Marshall's lifestyle series, which comprises headphones and speakers that are a perfect match to the brand's renowned guitar amplifiers. All of the striking features of the familiar tube amps are present in the Woburn, from the graceful Marshall logo on the distinct grey grille cloth to the vinyl-covered housing with a gold-coloured control panel on top. But let's not forget about the most important bit: the sound. The Woburn definitely doesn't disappoint with its clear trebles, true-to-form mids and deep bass frequencies.

Woburn Cream: inputs and controls

Not only does the Woburn have a pleasant sound and convincingly vintage looks, it also boasts various input options. If your smartphone, tablet or laptop has Bluetooth, you can stream your music to the Woburn wirelessly. Additionally, there's a 3.5mm input on the control panel to connect devices via the familiar stereo mini jack input (a beautiful coiled cable is included). Should you still have Hi-Fi equipment such as a CD player, tuner or record player, you can connect them via the practical RCA inputs. The optical input, lastly, is great for devices that have a digital Toslink output (such as most TVs, for instance). Guided by four LED indicators, you can select the right input with the source button and subsequently adjust the sound with the volume, treble and bass controls.
