General

The HH905N Iron Cobra Lever Glide hi-hat stand is part of Tama's high-end 900 series, and it provides plenty of functionality and stability. The Tama HH905N Lever Glide hi-hat stand features smooth and even action, thanks to a lever design drive with a durable Kevlar strap. Combined with the two double-braced legs that leave room for additional pedals, the Duo-spike rubber feet and the Non-Loosening tension rod, it seems we're dealing with a very robust and properly constructed hi-hat stand.

Tama HH905N Iron Cobra 900 Lever Glide hi-hat stand: professional sound and feel

To optimise the sound of your hi-hats, the Tama Lever Glide has a few special features. There is the Spring Seat, for instance, which allows you to tilt the bottom hi-hat cymbal for increased clarity and definition with every press of the pedal. Furthermore, Tama's Swing Lock clutch allows the top cymbal to vibrate freely, maximising its natural resonance. At the end of its pull rod, the Lever Glide has a specially shaped rubber insulator. Tama's patented 'Non-Loosening Tension Rod' prevents unwanted noises and keeps the pull rod from loosening.

A flexible tool

With a simple twisting mechanism, you can quickly and easily switch between six levels of tension that determine the resistance on the upper cymbal. The Lever Glide comes with a rotatable footboard that allows you to make room for a double bass drum pedal, like the Tama Iron Cobra 900 Power Glide Twin Pedal. The entire stand is also equipped with an innovative tilt system, which allows you to tilt the entire stand, by simply loosening a wing bolt. This allows for more flexible set-ups and more expressive hi-hat work. Finally, the hi-hat stand is equipped with Tama's innovative 'Spare-The-Rods' pull rod protector. After a gig, you can place the pull-rod in the specially designed upper tube so it won't get bent during transport.
