General

Though it might not have all the bells and whistles of Pearl's 2000 series, Pearl's 1000 series of hardware offers all the quality and durability you need while being a bit more affordable. A direct pull system allows for a predictable and linear response, so the hi-hat will feel like an extension of your body, and the footboard has a Pearl Traction Plate and Traction Grips, so you won't slide off the pedal.

No drummer will have problems using or attaching the standard clutch, and the included lock nut will make sure it doesn't slip out of its position. And thanks to the sturdy, double-braced legs your stand will never falter. The rubber feet will prevent your hi-hats from moving around, even when your playing gets a little rough, thanks to their reversible tips. You can choose between the rubber feet and the metal spikes, depending on the surface your drum set is placed on. Pearl made sure the H1000 is as sturdy as possible, while keeping the price down. A great deal for any serious drummer!
