Ludwig's LAP16HH hi-hat stand offers excellent control, stability and reliability. It can be adjusted in lots of different ways too making it the perfect hi-hat stand for drummers of all levels. While many hi-hat stands with two legs have problems with stability when played enthusiastically, the LAP16HH excels in this area partly thanks to its patent-pending Centroid 3-point stability system that uses part of the foundation plate to form a tripod. That's not its only highlight, however. As well as its overall adjustability, the progressive action linkage ensures a quick response with excellent feel and control. It's simple to fold up too which makes it easy to transport.

Incredibly, it’s been exactly 110 years since the German-American brothers William F. and Theobald Ludwig opened their first drum store, bearing the name ‘Ludwig & Ludwig’. The brothers started making bass drum pedals and soon expanded their production to include snare drums, kettle drums and every other flavour of drums and the rest is history, as they say.
