General

These Mb10 Medium Soundwave Hi-hats have a 14-inch diameter, giving them a relatively high pitch and a clear, cutting pedal chick. Furthermore, they have a quick attack and a rich and articulate sound when closed, and a nice and energetic sound when opened up. Thanks to the many sounds and possibilities they offer, the hi-hats have become a mainstay in virtually any drummer's setup.

The Mb10 bronze alloy

Cymbals from Meinl's Mb10 series are made of B10 bronze, which consists of 90% copper and 10% tin, and they are manufactured and shaped through a computerised process for maximum consistency. The bottom hi-hat cymbal has a special shape that eliminates the possibility of air-lock, where a vacuum between the two cymbals reduces their reaction time. Thanks to their brilliant finish, these cymbals have a modern look and a bright sound.

A complete assortment

Meinl is the only cymbal manufacturer to use four different bronze alloys in their cymbals. This ensures that they have a wide range of available products - amongst which the Mb10 series cymbals, with their warm, bright sound - and that the different segments complement each other well.
