Meinl's Byzance series consists of professional cymbals that strive to create the traditional European cymbal sound. As such, all cymbals from this series are hand-crafted in Meinl's facility in Turkey, giving each individual cymbal its own personality. These B15MH Medium Hi-hats are no exception to that rule. They have a 15-inch diameter and are made of B20 bronze, which is known to be strong and durable. You can trust these cymbals to keep their excellent sound for years and years.

Meinl Byzance B15MH: the big, friendly hi-hat

These hats have a very controlled sound - they lack extremes, so to speak. Whether you play them open or closed, this pair of hi-hats always provides a stable presence. Thanks to their generous size, they have plenty of body and a somewhat lower-pitched core tone than, for instance, a pair of 13-inch hi-hats would offer. It has a crisp pedal chick that is not too cutting, and the overall sound is warm and musical, lending itself well to pop, rock or fusion. The professional quality of these excellent hi-hats makes them a lasting investment, and a great addition to your drum kit.
