The set of Dream Cymbals Bliss 13-inch hi-hats is a dream come true. They're light and thin, and offer a vintage sound that's ideal for any jazz, funk, or pop drummer. In terms of playing, they have an expressive, warm tone with a dry stick response and a sturdy chick. Studio drummers in particular are sure to appreciate the fact that this set has a short sustain that sounds strong and compact. On top of that, the musical overtones these hi-hats have to offer will quickly made them the best thing about your setup!
Dream Cymbals
All Dream cymbals and gongs, including these hi-hats, are made by a small family-owned business in China. Dream is extremely proud of their 2000-year-old traditional method that is used in the region where gong and cymbal technology originated. The unique collaboration unites exceptional craftsmanship with modern western musical styles. First, the cymbals are hammered while they're hot, and then left alone for some time to acclimate. Some models need months of rest before the process can be continued. After the rest period, the cymbal is then hammered while it's cold, which is where the shape and structure is applied. Finally, it is put in a lathe for the finishing touches.
