General

Fitted with a specially designed boom arm, the professional Sennheiser HMD 26-II 600 broadcasting headset boasts a lightweight and comfortable design finished with soft ear cushions and a secure, dual headband with thick padding. A built-in Activegard limiter can be toggled off or on to protect your ears from any sudden signal peaks that reach over the 105 decibel limit, while the dynamic BMD-424 microphone can be worn on the left or right as preferred, features a shock-mounted capsule to counter contact noise, and a hypercardioid polar pattern to ensure clear and intelligible speech. This model has a 600 Ohm impedance and comes without a connecting cable.

The new Sennheiser HMD 300 PRO and HMD 301 PRO broadcast headsets follow on from the HMD 280 PRO and HMD 281 PRO respectively. A new addition to both models is the ActiveGard limiter that protects your ears from loud noise peaks. The HMD 300 XQ-2 is another new model that comes with a cable included. Sennheiser's professional over-ear monitoring headphones have been given a facelift too with the HD 300 PRO and HD 300 PROtect taking over from the HD 380 PRO. As its name suggests, the PROtect version also features the ActiveGard limiter.
