General

Acoustic transparency is an important concept for Shure Countryman, meaning they create products that strive to pick up any sound as accurately and naturally as possible, without altering it. Countryman is a family business that has been creating professional products for use in theatre, film and television for 35 years. This miniature microphone - which offers high-quality sound and can be worn very discreetly - is but one of the many excellent products they make.

E6 headset microphone

This extremely inconspicuous microphone offers a beautiful natural sound, while effectively ignoring ambient noise and countering feedback. A miniature condenser element is positioned close to the mouth by a flexible steel wire with a comfortable ear pad. This design allows you to adjust the E6 headset to the shape of your face for minimum visibility. The Countryman E6 series features a connector that allows you to hook the microphone up to a wireless system by means of a detachable cable. This means that, when your cable breaks or if you switch to a different wireless system, you won't have to replace the entire microphone - just replacing the cable will do! Do note that such a cable is not included with this headset; cables that are compatible with your wireless system are separately available. The versatile Countryman E6 headset is great for many different types of events, and it's available in a number of different versions.

Tips or comments about this product

this headset does not come with a cable
if you're in doubt between two colours, it's best to choose the darker shade. If it's too light in colour, the microphone might look too much like a scar.
