I purchased these through Bax about a week ago. I already have pop in your ear generic (keep falling out) & lightweight wired on ear Sennheiser, a set of August bluetooth (cheap but muddy sound) a set of Bluedio (has SD card for music/bluetooth as well-big speakers but murky & even though they have a choice of graphic equaliser settings not one to suit & still dull, murky OK for the kids). Thought I'd go upmarket & looked at noise cancelling types, nearly purchased Beats but their reputation is not quite built on their sound quality more marketing. The reviews worldwide from professional sites to the public for these was very good/fantastic with several reviews on Youtube.

They are lightweight, do not 'crush' my large head (I am 6' 5'' tall) do not leak sound even in a quiet bedroom (likewise not much sound leaks in & can hear the TV when the track ends) synchronised to my Nexus 5 phone & Nexus 10 tablet quickly. Can be used with a higher quality output wired (propriety end connection at the headphone end) range is at least 20M as I tried them in my garden. The extra base button can only be used on Bluetooth, it is really for those who contemplate buying Beats & listen to Hip Hop, there is plenty of base. On/off button, volume, Track back/forward are on the headphones & a microphone for taking calls (not tried this). Its over 30 years with young ears since I had a high quality Walkman that I could hear the breath of singers on, with the improvement in quality but much older ears I can hear that again. Read the paperwork with them but then you must download/read the online pdf (I did not for about a week) to set higher quality settings. They are set as standard to better connection but lower quality sound you can increase the sound quality at the expense of occasional 'drop outs' (if you want better range), it consists of turning them on whilst holding down the volume button on +/- & counting the blue light flashes. They are not £300/£400 top of the range headphones but just over £100. Buy.

The only cheaper sites for these were 'fly by night' far east ones that when tracked had awful reviews.

Goeie koptelefoon,
