The Samson HP10 are affordable headphones with a surprisingly high-quality sound. These headphones are perfectly suited for DJs that want to pre-listen, but do not need the highest sound quality. These also come in handy if you want to quietly rehearse with your keyboard or guitar, or if you want to use headphones with your MP3 player.

Characteristics of the HP-10
These headphones have a good volume and wide frequency range, so that high and low are well represented. The earpieces are closed, cancelling out ambient noise and ensuring that people around you won't be bothered by your music. The headband is adjustable and the earpieces are large and envelop your ears.

Wrote the following about Samson HP10 headphones

Als hoofdtelefoon voor aan de computer gebruikte ik voorheen de Sennheisser HD201, die iets duurder is dan deze Samson. De draad van de Sennheisser was kapot gegaan, dus moest er een nieuwe hofdtelefoon komen. Bax had de Sennheisser even niet op voorraad, dus toen heb ik deze besteld.

Wat duidelijk aan deze hoofdtelefoon te zien en te horen is, is dat het een budget product is. Qua geluid zijn vooral de hoge tonen minder gedetailleerd dan bij de Sennheisser. Ook is hij iets zwaarder, al kun je er wel moeiteloos een avond mee op je hoofd zitten. Het geheel voelt een beetje plastic aan en ik vraag me af hoe lang de oorkussens op hun plek blijven zitten.

Zodoende dat ik 'm drie sterren geef: een zesje. Mocht het echter zo zijn dat hij het na drie jaar nog steeds doet, dan kom ik hier terug en hoog ik mijn waardering op!
