RAV Vast instruments are acclaimed for providing excellent build quality for a reasonable price and are used as part of music therapy, meditation and yoga practice, as well as music-making. This RAV Vast tongue drum bears the mysterious, melodic sound of G Pygmy tuning, and to get an idea of exactly what this sounds like, see the clip included under the Videos tab on this page. Made from 1.5mm-thick steel, this drum has a 20 inch diameter, bringing the size and shape close to that of a hand-pan, and due to it's easy tuning and the intuitive nature of tongue drumming, can be played comfortably by both complete beginners as well as advanced musicians. This particular model comes in red and is tuned to notes G2, C3, D3, D#3, G3, A#3, C4, D4 and F4.
