The Fender FA-15 3/4 Steel 3/4-sized acoustic guitar is perfect for younger students aged 8 and up. It also makes a great travel model for fully-grown guitarists. The sapele back and sides provide a warm foundation sound, and a balanced overall tone, while the comfortable C-profile neck feels snug in the fret hand. This excellent study-buddy comes complete with a gig bag so it can be safely toted to lessons, rehearsals, and gigs.

Please note: The FA-15 comes fitted with one strap button only. To attach a strap and play standing, a guitar strap with a cord, headstock tie or quick release system for acoustic guitars at one end is required.

Wrote the following about Fender FA-15 3/4 Steel Moonlight Burst Acoustic Guitar with Gig Bag

Talentvol nichtje wilde gitaar leren spelen maar mijn Tanglewood TW115 was iets te groot. Deze Fender blijkt in de praktijk goed te voldoen. Afwerking is goed, echter gezien merk en prijs had ik wel betere snaren verwacht. De klank is wel ruim voldoende en de hals is goed bespeelbaar, ook voor kortere vingers. Prima afgesteld, geen aanpassingen nodig. De stemmechanieken zijn OK.
Jammer dat er geen goede aansluitpunten zijn voor een draagband. Zou wel vermeld moeten worden in de productomschrijving, zodat je die erbij zou kunnen bestellen, of als suggestie in een bundel.

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
