En guitare , on règlera la corde de La puis les autres, une par une en jouant la note.
Cet outil précieux me fait par analogie penser à la nécessité que découvre brutalement les plaisanciers très amateurs et imprudents qui découvrent lorsque l'électronique tombe en panne toute l'utilité d'un compas et .. de savoir s'en servir.
Le diapason (à 3,40) est le compas du musicien.
