General
The Snark SN-8 is a clip-on tuning device that is suited for several instruments. It uses a piezo pickup to accurately pick up vibrations from your guitar, bass guitar, violin, or other instrument As it picks up vibrations instead of sound, you can also use the Snark SN-8 in noisy environments. The Snark SN-8's frequency range makes it suitable for a wide range of instruments. Compared to earlier Snark models, this version has a more legible display and a slightly quicker and more accurate tuning process.
Options
The Snark SN-8 is a chromatic tuner and features a pitch calibration function that allows you to adjust the reference frequency (standard at 440 Hz) between 415 and 466 Hz. It is this combination that makes it suitable for a plethora of musical instruments. As long as the instruments vibrates enough for the SN-8 to pick it up, you can use this Snark to tune it. The built-in metronome with Tap Tempo function is a practical addition for practising new songs or sections.
Attaching and display
Snark tuners feature a Stay Put clamp that makes sure it stays in place while you're playing. As the display can be rotated 360 degrees, you can place it on the front or on the back of the headstock, making the SN-8 suitable for both left and right-handed players. The display is full colour and clearly backlit so you can also use it on dark stages or by the camp fire. To make sure that the SN-8 is safe during transport, it comes in a practical bag.

Zeker een aanbeveling waard.
De Snark leest zowel bij bas als bij gitaar alle snaren meteen uit. Je kunt meteen stemmen. Snel en goed.
