General

No musician leaves home without a tuner, and where tuners are concerned, Korg has quite a reputation. Their TM50 is their most popular model to date, and is used by all kinds of musicians for all kinds of instruments and genres. Its popularity is also due to the fact that it can tune accurately in minor and major thirds. While the TM50 was a precise tuner with an integrated metronome function, the TM-50TR takes things one step further. The metronome in this revamped model has a periodic function, which means it can skip measures so you can train your sense of rhythm. Use the two included AAA batteries to provide the tuner with power.

Korg TM-50TR: tone training

While the tuning and metronome functions of the Korg TM-50TR are exceptional, it's capable of even more. Unlike its predecessor, the TM-50TR is able to analyse your playing, note for note. When you play a tone, the TM-50TR analyses the pitch, as well as the dynamics, brightness, and stability. The tuner allows you to select a setting for woodwind, brass or string instruments, which means any musician can make the most out of this handy device. If you want an even more accurate analysis, you may want to invest in the Korg CM-200 contact microphone, which is compatible with the TM-50TR. Tuning and training has never been this precise with the Korg TM-50TR Metallic Silver!
